I was resolved to be more organized with school this semester. We were back at it yesterday. Of course, the computer lost my lesson plans and we didn't finish until much later than usual - but we got it done. More important than the math and science though is the character of my children. I made up this little poster for 2009 that has Scripture on it to correspond with the different resolutions the kids made for the year. I also included the fruit of the Spirit passage from Galatians 5. We will be working on memorizing all of these in the upcoming weeks.
Is there any way you can scan that to your computer and send it my way? I love the verses. They would be great reminders around the Yeatts home, as well.

I'm sure time is a problem right now, but when the kids are older, you should write a book about your parenting style. I think it is great what you do with your kids....although I don't know them, I can just tell they are good kids.

ReplyDeleteNext time you see Rinny ask her to sing the fruits of the spirit song. It still is really amazing to me how quickly they can memorize large portions of scripture.
